Welcome to Enerfit, the single zone HVAC retrofit that makes your unit Energy Fit.
Unlike most efficiency retrofits that yield 5-10% savings and have payback times in the 10-15 year range, Enerfit can slash 50-70% of annual energy costs and averages 1-3 year payback times (and in some cases can payback in as few as 6 months.)
Unlike most HVAC retrofits, Enerfit doesn’t save energy at the expense of comfort; it actually improves it by using passive dehumidification to significantly lower relative humidity.
Enerfit also eliminates the need to purchase ANY new single zone HVAC units to achieve these savings.![]()

Back to the Future with new ASHRAE Standard
By retrofitting with Enerfit, your old unit (which can date back 15 years) now meets the just-released ASHRAE* energy conservation standards for new units, effective 2012.
ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2010 was published this fall and is adopted as the International Energy Conservation Code for all new HVAC equipment on new and existing commercial buildings. Effective January 1, 2012 all single-zone HVAC units 9.2 Tons and larger will be required to have the ability to reduce indoor fan speed to 66% or less when the equipment load is below 50%. Additionally, the equipment shall have the capability to maintain proper ventilation at reduced speed.
*The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is an international organization that establishes standards for the uniform testing and rating of heating, ventilating, airconditioning and refrigeration equipment.
